Designed for discerning travelers, the route pairs expert-led private historical tours with curated art, music, and architectural experiences, alongside luxury boutique accommodations and comfortable private transfers.

Vienna (4-5 nights)

Your journey begins in the grand Austrian capital, a city synonymous with classical music, avant-garde art, and a once-flourishing Jewish intelligentsia. Begin by exploring the historic Jewish quarter of Leopoldstadt, visit the Jewish Museum Vienna, and admire the beautiful Stadttempel, the city’s main synagogue. Immerse yourself in Vienna’s cultural legacy with a private gallery visit or a curated evening classical music concert, celebrating the works of Jewish composers like Mahler and Schoenberg before heading east toward the Slovak border.
Bratislava & the Tatra Mountains (3-5 nights)

Cross into Slovakia to discover a hidden world of Jewish material culture and rich artistic traditions. In Bratislava, visit the Chatam Sofer Memorial, a crypt honoring prominent scholars, followed by a walk to the Cubist Heydukova Street Synagogue and the Jewish Community Museum, which preserves regional Judaica. From there, your journey continues along a spectacular private driving route that winds through the majestic High Tatras. You will stop along the way at the pristine glacial lake of Štrbské Pleso to breathe in the crisp alpine air and take in the spectacular views of the jagged, snow-dusted peaks before crossing the scenic mountain border into Poland.
Krakow (3-5 nights)

The journey concludes in southern Poland, the historic center of Poland’s Jewish cultural renaissance and a vibrant hub for the arts. Spend time exploring Kazimierz, Krakow’s historic Jewish quarter, with its magnificent Szeroka Street, the Old Synagogue, and the Remuh Synagogue and Cemetery. You will also examine the sobering WWII legacy at the former Schindler’s Factory, as well as take an expert-led, reflective day trip to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial. These historical explorations are perfectly balanced with traditional Ashkenazi-Jewish cuisine, a private klezmer music concert in the evening, and visits to Kazimierz’s contemporary art galleries.
